Who is responsible?

The company behind Doug Moto is the controller of your reservation information. Its legal name and postal contact details are in our terms and conditions. Contact [email protected].

Reservations currently run in Stripe test mode. No real payment is taken and a test transaction does not create a production queue place.

What we collect and why

We ask for your name, email, delivery country, currency and acceptance of the reservation terms. When you continue to test checkout, we store these with the payment reference, accepted terms and payment/refund timestamps to take the steps you request before reserving and to operate the reservation agreement. Contract is our legal basis for this. We use records needed for accounts and tax to meet legal obligations, and limited security records for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and protecting the service.

Form entries stay in the page until you choose to continue to payment. That action sends the reservation details to our server and the information Stripe needs to create checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number. Test data can still be personal information: use a test identity and never enter a real card.

Payments and service providers

Stripe handles hosted card entry and test payments. It processes payment and fraud information under its privacy policy. We share the name, email, currency, payment amount and reservation reference needed for checkout. Cloudflare hosts this preview and stores its sandbox reservation records in D1. It processes network information to deliver and protect the site. We do not store your IP address in our reservation database. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We may share relevant records with professional advisers and authorities where necessary. We do not sell your information.

Stripe can process information internationally. Its privacy policy explains its locations and transfer safeguards. Cloudflare provides our website hosting, reservation database and inbound email forwarding. Messages to [email protected] are forwarded to our business inbox. We use the information in your message to answer your enquiry. Cloudflare and Stripe describe their international processing and transfer safeguards in their privacy policies.

News is optional

We use consent for occasional marketing emails. The news box starts unchecked; you can reserve without it. You can withdraw consent using an unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Reservation, receipt and refund messages are service messages. No mailing list or automated marketing emails are currently sent from this site.

How long we keep it

Sandbox reservation records stored in Cloudflare D1 are kept for up to 30 days after the test programme ends, then deleted, unless a specific incident requires longer. Stripe applies its own retention rules. For live reservations, we plan to retain records while your reservation is open and keep necessary financial and contract records for six years after the relevant accounting period, subject to local legal requirements. Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it; we keep a minimal suppression record to honour an opt-out.

Your region

Where our hosting edge provides it, we use an approximate country derived from your IP address to suggest a pricing region. We do this to show relevant regional prices (our legitimate interest); your manual choice takes priority. We do not request GPS access or send your IP to a separate geolocation service. If no country is available, we start with the United States. You can choose another region at the bottom of any page. Your delivery country determines the reservation currency and queue region at checkout.

Cookies and similar storage

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and uses no tracking identifiers. If you choose a region, we save that functional preference in your browser for up to 12 months, so prices stay consistent across pages. You can change it using the Region selector in the footer or clear it in your browser settings. Its film and fonts are served by Cloudflare with the rest of this site. There are no social embeds or automatic external video players. This preference supports the region selection you request; we do not use it for tracking or marketing. We do not load optional tracking that needs a consent banner.

If you choose to open Stripe Checkout, Stripe's hosted page may use cookies and similar technologies for checkout and fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie information. We will review consent requirements before adding analytics or other optional tracking.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for a portable copy where applicable. You can withdraw marketing consent without affecting earlier lawful use. Some records must be retained by law. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; regional queue allocation follows the rule in your terms.
