Frequently asked questions

What does my reservation get me?

$200 USD saves you a timestamped place in your regional queue, within a compatible production batch. If you choose to buy Sulis, the full payment goes towards the bike.

You’re free to change your mind. There’s no obligation to buy. Read the reservation terms ↗

Can I get a full refund?

Yes. Change your mind at any time before signing a separate motorcycle purchase agreement and we’ll refund the full amount. No fees deducted. Cancelling ends your queue place.

Email [email protected] with your reservation reference. We refund the original payment method in the same currency within 14 calendar days of your request; your bank may take a little longer to show it.

How does queue priority work?

Your place follows the timestamp of your successful payment within your launch region and a compatible production batch. Different regions and batches can open at different times because of approvals, specification and delivery requirements.

It’s a place in the queue, with no guaranteed delivery date or worldwide delivery number. Cancel and reserve again later, and the new reservation gets a new timestamp.

What is the price?

US price to be announced.

UK on-the-road prices include VAT and mandatory road costs. European consumer prices will include the taxes and charges local rules require. US government taxes, title and registration may be excluded where permitted. Compulsory charges and tariffs will be included or disclosed as local law requires.

We will show the complete regional purchase price before you choose to order.

Where and when will Sulis launch?

Europe and the United States are first in the plan. If you ride elsewhere, you’re welcome to join the reservation queue too.

We haven’t announced delivery dates yet. Sulis is still in development and has not been type approved. We’ll confirm where we can supply it and the timing before you decide to buy; a reservation does not guarantee local supply.

Can I take Sulis for a test ride?

Not yet. We’re still developing Sulis, and we haven’t announced test-ride dates or locations. We’ll share those plans when there are bikes ready to ride.

How do I know if Sulis will suit me?

We’ll publish the final seat height, dimensions, weight and approved licence requirements as they’re confirmed. Whether it’s your first bike or your next one, those details matter.

They’re still being finalised. You’ll have that information before deciding whether to buy; a reservation leaves your options open.

What about warranty and servicing?

We haven’t announced the warranty, service locations or maintenance schedule yet. Those are part of the ownership details you’ll get before choosing to buy.

For now, you can reserve a queue place while we keep developing Sulis, and get a full refund before signing a separate purchase agreement.

What does 180 miles WMTC mean?

180 miles WMTC is the range we’re working towards. WMTC stands for World Motorcycle Test Cycle: a defined riding cycle that gives us a common yardstick for comparing results.

We haven’t measured or approved that figure yet. Speed, weather, luggage, tyres, terrain and riding style all affect how far a bike goes. We’ll publish a measured result after testing using the applicable procedure.

What range do you model at road speeds?
Steady speedModel estimate
70 mph / 113 km/h120 miles / 190 km
50 mph / 80 km/h200 miles / 320 km

These are first-pass simulations, not road-test or WMTC results. They assume a 20.7 kWh nominal pack, 93% usable energy, a 210 kg motorcycle and 85 kg rider, CdA 0.47 m², rolling resistance 0.015, 90% battery-to-wheel efficiency and 180 W auxiliary load.

They do not demonstrate the 180 miles WMTC objective.

How quickly will Sulis charge?

We’re working towards 0–80% in no more than 12 minutes at 25°C on a suitable DC charger. Time for a quick breather and a look at the map.

That time still needs to be demonstrated on a production motorcycle. The charger, battery condition and temperature all matter. Home and destination AC charging are also planned.

Which charging connectors are planned?

We’re planning CCS2 for Europe and NACS/J3400 for North America, with boost charging developed as part of the drive electronics.

We’ll confirm regional compatibility before you choose to buy. A matching connector alone does not guarantee access to every charging network.

How much power and torque will Sulis have?

The figures we’re working towards are 150 bhp peak power and 1,000 Nm at the rear wheel. The motor, inverter and controls are being developed together, with rider modes to shape the response.

Adjustable regeneration changes how the bike slows as you roll off the throttle. These figures still need validation, and wheel torque is not directly comparable with a petrol engine’s crankshaft torque.

Which rider assistance and safety systems are planned?

We’re planning adaptive cruise, front and rear radar, blind-spot alerts and camera views, along with cornering ABS, traction and wheelie management, and cornering lighting.

Final features depend on testing, supplier integration and market approval. They help an attentive rider; Sulis will still need you doing the riding.

What about comfort and connectivity?

Warm hands and a happy passenger are firmly on the list. We’re planning heated grips and rider/pillion seats, phone/NFC card/fob keys, walk and reverse assistance, and CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

We’ll confirm the final equipment and approved phone integrations before you choose to buy.

Are the images the final motorcycle?

They’re a peek at the direction we’re exploring for Sulis. The current images and film use Concept C illustrations, rather than a production motorcycle or validated CAD.

We’re still working on the styling, so expect details to change along the way.
